Position Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to support our marketing team in driving engagement, visibility, and brand growth across key platforms. Supporting the Australia team, this role is ideal for someone early in their digital marketing career who is passionate about social media, creative storytelling, and community building.

You will work collaboratively with marketing, design, and content teams to plan, publish, and monitor content while helping adapt global strategies for local audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

  • Support content scheduling, posting, and basic copywriting in alignment with campaign goals and brand tone.

  • Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement across channels and escalate where appropriate.

  • Track and report on social media performance using insights and analytics tools.

  • Help maintain and update the content calendar, ensuring alignment with broader marketing activities.

  • Adapt global content and messaging to suit Australian audiences while maintaining brand consistency.

  • Stay current with social media trends, audience behaviors, and platform updates.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure visual and written content meets marketing objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience managing or supporting social media for a brand or business (internships or freelance work acceptable).

  • Solid understanding of major social media platforms and content formats.

  • Basic experience with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Buffer, Later, or Hootsuite).

  • Strong attention to detail with good written and visual communication skills.

  • Proactive, creative, and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Familiarity with the Australian market and audience preferences.

  • Experience with paid social media campaigns or boosted posts.
