Considered as corporate generalists, who advise businesses on their legal obligations, rights, and responsibilities, provide advice on business structures, and evaluate ventures. Serve as an in-house counsel, handle and advise businesses and their employees on a variety of legal matters and projects. Take part in meetings, trials, and other legal proceedings related to the company.

Structure transactions, draft and review documents, negotiate deals, attend meetings, and serve as a committee member in every administrative hearing. Work to ensure that the provisions of an agreement are clear, unambiguous, and won't cause problems for the company and their clients in the future. QUALIFICATIONSMust have a law degree from a recognized university and passed the bar exam.

Must have 5 years proven background in corporate law, specifically Labor Law. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization. Strong negotiation skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESThorough understanding of office management procedures and control. Familiar with financial and facilities management. Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel.

Problem-solving skills and an analytical mind. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across all departments of J&T.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Administrative and managerial skills. Analytical ability and strong attention to detail. Computer skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWrite, check, negotiate, and execute agreements and all contracts on behalf of the company. Offer counsel on a variety of business legal issues, including all J&T subsidiaries. Advise executives on procedures and processes pertaining to legal aspects.

Work alongside other departments within the company, together with Legal specialists. Advise on contract status, legal risks, and liabilities associated with business deals J&T plans to enter into. Research and anticipate legal issues and risks that could impact the company.

Review J&T advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Provide training to the company and its officers on legal topics for compliance with laws, rules, and regulations. Attend company meetings for immediate legal consultation.

Represent J&T in court or before government agencies. May serve as a corporate Public Relations Spokesperson.
