We are seeking an
experienced Chief Risk Officer (CRO)
to lead and strengthen the risk management framework of our digital banking operations. This role is ideal for an
assertive Manager or Senior Manager
ready to step up into a leadership role with proven expertise across
risk management, financial risk, and credit risk
.

About the Role

As CRO, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring risk strategies that safeguard the bank's assets, ensure compliance with regulations, and support sustainable business growth. You'll work closely with senior leadership to align risk appetite with business objectives, while building a culture of risk awareness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the enterprise-wide risk management framework.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, credit, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align risk strategy with digital banking growth plans.
  • Provide timely reporting and insights to the Board and regulators.
  • Lead risk audits, stress testing, and scenario planning.
  • Mentor and guide risk management teams to elevate organizational capability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in
    risk management
    , preferably in
    digital banking, fintech, or financial services
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    financial risk, credit risk, and operational risk management
    .
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • Solid understanding of local and international banking regulations.
  • Assertive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex risk frameworks.
