About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Call Center Agent to join our team at FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION (FORMERLY SANKO FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION) in Cebu Central Visayas. As a full-time Call Center Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, handling a variety of inquiries and requests in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Answering incoming calls from customers and addressing their queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  2. Documenting customer interactions and maintaining detailed records of all conversations
  3. Resolving customer issues and escalating complex problems to the appropriate department or supervisor
  4. Identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and provide feedback to the management team
  5. Adhering to company policies, procedures, and quality standards
  6. Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  1. At least a high school graduate with a strong customer service background
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and empathise with customers
  3. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address a variety of customer inquiries
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  5. Proficient in English, both written and verbal
  6. Familiarity with customer service software and tools is an advantage
