Job Summary:

The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the financial health of the organization by overseeing daily financial operations, preparing reports, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and government regulations. This role provides financial insights to support decision-making and contributes to the overall financial stability and growth of the company.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure the availability of funds for operations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, government reporting, and internal policies.
  • Assist in developing financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support management with financial analysis and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Safeguard company assets through proper internal controls and risk management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and MS Excel.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage.
