About the Role

We're on the hunt for a Experienced Test Automation Engineer who thrives at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and rigorous software quality. This role is perfect for someone who not only excels in traditional automation frameworks like Playwright, Cucumber, and Selenium, but also brings a forward-thinking mindset with hands-on experience in prompt engineering using tools like Copilot, Agents GPT, Claude, and Gemini.

You'll be part of a collaborative, globally distributed team, driving quality across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced Agile/SCRUM environment. Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of financial platforms used by thousands of customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright, Cucumber, and Selenium
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize AI-driven QA workflows and test generation
• Collaborate with developers, database engineers, and project managers across onshore and offshore teams
• Manage testing efforts across multiple projects with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive resolution with development teams
• Champion best practices in test automation and mentor junior QA engineers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in test automation scripting with 1–2 years hands-on experience with Playwright, Cucumber, and Selenium
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, Agents GPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced settings with multiple concurrent projects
• Familiarity with database testing and backend systems
• Troubleshooting skills using tools such as Kibana Logs, Dynatrace

Preferred Experience

• Background in FinTech, banking, or financial services
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
• Experience with performance or security testing tools
• Manual testing experience such as Functional Testing, Regression Testing is a plus
