Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen activities, including food preparation, staff management, inventory control, food costing and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Kitchen Operations:

  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Enforce food safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines.

Inventory and Cost Control:

  • Monitor food waste and implement strategies to minimize it.
  • Manage kitchen inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Control food and labor costs to meet budgetary targets.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant's quality and presentation standards.
  • Conduct regular food quality inspections.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment.
  • Train staff on safe food handling and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Culinary Arts, HRM or any equivalent course
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in any casual dining restaurant
  • Knowledgeable in People Management, Shift Management and Inventory Management
  • Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable with kitchen equipment and culinary techniques.
  • Has full understanding with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
