Senior Accountant – Xero Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant – Xero Specialist with strong Australian accounting exposure to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has deep practical experience in bookkeeping, excellent command of Xero and MS Excel, and can deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. You will be working directly with Australian clients, handling day-to-day accounting, reconciliation, payroll, AP/AR, and compliance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for Australian clients
  • Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations using Xero
  • Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll processing
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, and other Australia-related tax documentation
  • Generate financial reports and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding queries, clarifications, and deliverables
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all financial records

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Australian bookkeeping/accounting exposure required
  • Proficiency in Xero (extensive practical use required)
  • Strong skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
  • Experience in payroll processing, AP, AR, and reconciliations
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • High attention to detail; able to work within tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
