Application Security is the point person for the company-wide vulnerability management and penetration testing program, devising plans to ethically assess the company's IT infrastructure and information systems. The role involves proactively collaborating with relevant business units to resolve identified vulnerabilities and exposures. What you will do:Perform Application Security assessments on internally and externally developed systems, such as Android and iOS mobile apps, web applications, APIs, etc.

Conduct periodic penetration tests on company network, applications, infrastructure, and cloud-based resources/IT assets. Create Application Security assessment reports for business/product owners after each penetration test. Collaborate with IT teams and business owners to review and recommend security controls and system designs for various IT projects.

Identify and maintain a register of IT and information risks, recommending risk reduction controls and tracking mitigation activities. Manage periodic vulnerability scans, policy compliance scans, web application scans, and source code reviews, including reporting. Assist in periodic IT Security assessments and compliance checks.

Ensure visibility of the latest and emerging threats and recommend countermeasures. Attend to ad-hoc IT Security assessment requests. Work with various teams to set up automated security scans and tests.

What you need to have:Minimum of 3 years of experience in application security testing. Hands-on experience in web and mobile application penetration testing. Solid understanding of application security frameworks, testing principles, and techniques.
