Web Application Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Web Application Security Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments of web applications and infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing recommendations for mitigation. A strong understanding of web technologies, programming languages, and web application architecture is essential.

  • Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of web applications and infrastructure to identify security vulnerabilities.
  • Penetration Testing: Perform controlled attacks on web applications, APIs, and infrastructure to simulate real-world hacking attempts.
  • Security Analysis: Analyze the results of penetration tests to assess the severity of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports that document findings, including identified vulnerabilities and recommendations for remediation.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of web application vulnerabilities and common attack techniques.
  • Proficiency in various penetration testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Ruby, or JavaScript).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify vulnerabilities and recommend countermeasures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, GPEN).
  • Experience with manual testing techniques, automated vulnerability scanners, and exploit frameworks.
