Laboratory Technician

Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines Technological Institute of the Philippines Full time ₱300,000 - ₱450,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the facilities (i.e., laboratory, shop, stock room, tool room, technical room), equipment, supplies and materials
  • Conducts preventive maintenance and inventory of all laboratory holdings and equipment
  • Conducts laboratory training sessions for users including faculty members and students
  • Regularly checks and reports on the status and condition of laboratory holdings and equipment.
  • Checks the cleanliness, safety and proper use of the laboratory and its equipment by faculty and students
  • Submits preventive maintenance reports on time.
  • Controls the ingress and egress of users in order to safeguard the equipment and supplies.
  • Prepares requisition for materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Instructs all users on safety precautionary measures in the use of the facilities, tools and equipment.
  • Updates and maintains documents and records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ or other Engineering courses
  • Knowledgeable in laboratory tools
  • Preferably a licensed technician
  • Willing to report onsite (QC)
  • Willing to start ASAP
