About the Role

The Brand and Marketing Manager will lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of brand and marketing initiatives — from concept to launch. This includes driving new product development, defining pricing strategies, and ensuring the brand maintains a strong market position. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, capable of turning insights into impactful business strategies that deliver growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and execute brand strategies that strengthen the company's market presence and customer loyalty.
  • Ensure all marketing communications consistently reflect brand identity, tone, and positioning.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive movements, and consumer insights.
  • Lead brand innovation initiatives to stay ahead in dynamic markets.

New Product Development (NPD)

  • Collaborate with product development, R&D, and sales teams to conceptualize and launch new products.
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy — from idea generation, feasibility studies, packaging, and naming to full-scale launch.
  • Manage product lifecycle planning, including refreshes, rebranding, and phase-outs.
  • Use consumer feedback and data analytics to guide product improvement and future pipeline planning.

Pricing & Market Strategy

  • Develop pricing strategies that balance profitability, competitiveness, and customer value.
  • Conduct market and cost analysis to determine optimal pricing models for various product categories.
  • Support sales and finance teams in setting trade terms, margins, and promotional pricing.
  • Continuously monitor market shifts and adjust pricing to maintain competitiveness.

Marketing Campaigns & Promotions

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and offline channels.
  • Lead product launches, brand activations, and events to maximize awareness and conversion.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, influencers, and media partners to expand brand reach.
  • Oversee ad spend and ensure ROI-driven marketing investments.

Analytics & Performance Management

  • Track and analyze key metrics (brand health, sales uplift, campaign performance).
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for business growth.
  • Prepare monthly reports and strategy reviews for management.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage a marketing team and coordinate with cross-functional departments (Sales, Operations, R&D, Finance).
  • Foster an innovative, data-driven, and collaborative culture within the marketing department.
  • Mentor and develop team members to build strong marketing capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in brand management, product development, or marketing.
  • Proven track record in launching new products and developing pricing models.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems, etc.) and MS Office/Google Suite.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in FMCG, consumer goods, or e-commerce industries.
  • Familiarity with market research, category management, or trade marketing.
  • Strong understanding of both digital marketing and traditional channels.
