Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Outreach Specialist to identify and pursue project opportunities on global freelance platforms and other online marketplaces.

The ideal candidate understands how to position service offerings, craft compelling proposals, and communicate with prospective clients across technology and design categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify relevant project opportunities on freelance and outsourcing platforms.
  • Draft clear, customized, and persuasive proposals aligned with client requirements.
  • Manage proposal pipelines, follow-ups, and client communication efficiently.
  • Collaborate with leadership team to refine bidding strategies and positioning.
  • Track conversion metrics and continuously improve proposal success rates.
  • Maintain consistent professionalism while representing Octet Dev in all client interactions.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proven experience in freelance project acquisition or online business development.
  • Strong understanding of client prospecting and proposal writing for tech, design, or consulting projects.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple leads at once.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently during India's evening shift.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms for sourcing freelance or outsourced projects is a plus.

Tools & Systems

  • CRM or lead-tracking platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Airtable, or similar).
  • Standard productivity tools (Google Workspace / Microsoft 365).
  • Communication tools (Slack, Zoom, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Must commit to a Pacific Standard Time (PST) schedule.
  • Must use Time Doctor for time tracking.
  • Submission of a valid NBI clearance upon onboarding (background checks required).

  • Able to multitask and manage time effectively across projects

Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.

We conduct background checks. Submission of a valid NBI Clearance is required upon onboarding.

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay
