Overview:

We are seeking an experienced
IT Service Management (ITSM) Consultant
to assess, optimize, and enhance ITSM processes in alignment with
ITIL best practices
. The consultant will collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, design efficient workflows, and provide detailed requirements for configuration and implementation within
ServiceNow
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing
    ITSM processes
    to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Design, document, and implement updated ITSM processes consistent with
    ITIL standards
    .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to
    gather, analyze, and validate
    business and technical requirements.
  • Provide expert input and guidance on
    ServiceNow ITSM configuration
    to ensure alignment with redesigned processes.
  • Support
    performance analytics and reporting
    initiatives to track process maturity and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, ensuring alignment, adoption, and clear communication across teams.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of
    5 years' experience
    in
    IT Service Management
    roles or consulting engagements.
  • Strong expertise in
    ITSM frameworks
    and
    ITIL principles
    , with proven ability to apply them in real-world process design.
  • Practical knowledge of
    ServiceNow ITSM modules
    (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, etc.) and ability to advise on configuration.
  • Familiarity with
    ITSM performance metrics
    , KPIs, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Skilled in
    requirements elicitation
    , documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with both
    business process owners
    and
    technical implementation teams
    .
