The Warehouse Supervisor – Inbound is responsible for overseeing all inbound operations, including receiving, unloading, inspection, and storage of goods. This role ensures accurate documentation, smooth material flow, and compliance with company standards. The supervisor will lead and develop a team of associates, maintain safety and quality standards, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of inventory for production or order fulfillment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily inbound activities including receiving, unloading, verification, and put-away of goods.
  • Ensure all inbound shipments are checked against purchase orders and documentation for accuracy.
  • Manage and monitor the team of warehouse associates, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity.
  • Coordinate with procurement, quality, and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper storage and organization of goods in line with FIFO/FEFO and safety standards.
  • Track KPIs for inbound operations such as turnaround time, accuracy, and damage control.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies at all times.
  • Prepare reports on inbound activities, inventory variances, and process improvements.
  • Train and mentor team members to build efficiency and operational discipline.
  • Operate or oversee use of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of warehouse/logistics experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of inbound processes, inventory control, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Good leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP/WMS software preferred.
