Our client, a leading company in property development, is looking to hire a Technical Design Management Head - Hospitality to oversee and coordinate the design process across a wide range of trades for their hospitality projects. 

This role requires expertise in managing the design process from concept to completion while ensuring profitability through P&L management on hotel projects. The role will also focus on ensuring every project is innovative, functional, and sustainable, while managing multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality results.

The Technical Design Management Head - Hospitality will lead a team of architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants, overseeing all aspects of design management for hotel projects. This position requires extensive experience in P&L management, ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high design standards. The role will focus on integrating aesthetic, functional, and sustainability goals across all phases of the project, from initial concept to final execution.

• Lead and manage the design team (architects, interior designers, engineers, etc.), ensuring high-quality design output across all stages of the project.
• Coordinate with project management teams to ensure design execution within budget, timelines, and quality.
• Manage P&L for hotel projects, ensuring cost control while maintaining design integrity and innovation.
• Manage relationships with third-party consultants to ensure their engagement and delivery.
• Oversee the design process from initial concept to final execution, integrating MEPS and structural elements seamlessly.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, liaising with external stakeholders (local authorities, contractors, clients).
• Develop and implement design standards and best practices across all projects.
• Set goals, KPIs, and monitor the performance of the design team to achieve project delivery success.
• Foster creativity and innovation within the team, exploring new ideas, materials, and technologies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in design, and construction technologies.

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of design management experience in the property development industry, including extensive experience in hotel projects.
• Proven P&L management experience on hotel projects, with a strong track record of delivering within budget.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Experience with sustainable design practices and certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
• In-depth knowledge of building regulations, codes, and design standards.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
