What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

    • Intermediate to high levels of experience in Learning Software design skills in a program such as Captivate, Storyline, Rise, Articulate or other
  • Experience in working with large health care and/or nursing care organisations, Employment Agencies, Government, and other key stakeholders focused on supporting Aged Care in building skills
  • Experience with managing Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Ability to apply adult learning principles for the development, application, and evaluation of workplace training
  • Ability to develop and deliver training such as virtual learning workshops and eLearning programs.
  • Excellent oral and written skills to support clear and accurate communication with internal stakeholders
  • Excellent computer skills, in particular MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

What will you do? The Learning & Development Lead will lead on the development and delivery of the Learning& Development strategy. In collaboration with the Executive Management Team, co-ordinate and evaluate all internal learning and development initiatives, encouraging and supporting a structured learning culture across the organisation to build a high-performing workforce at all levels.

  • Plan, Co-ordinate and Deliver:
  • Lead on learning needs assessment to ensure all training and development activity is captured across the organisation and recommend effective solutions based upon your findings.
  • Ensure effective management of training and career development to enable people to grow and progress.
  • Manage the delivery of an ongoing leadership management development programme focused for senior and middle level line management.
  • Lead on the delivery of the learning & development strategy, work with the Executive Management Team and key stakeholders to implement the learning & development plan, evaluating that it continues to meet the statutory and legal requirements of the Australian Aged Care standards and Quality and Compliance requirements under the Australian National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) , employee needs and is aligned with the organisation's values and culture.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify needs, recommend solutions and provide tailored learning and eLearning products
  • Manage the LMS utilisation and compliance.  This includes supporting Users with processes and training to achieve learning compliance requirements.
  • Complete learning compliance audits regularly to ensure the company meets it obligations to relevant regulators
  • Co-ordinate traineeships and other government funded programs for employees including monitoring and reviewing success
  • Develop new and evaluate existing learning programs that support capability build for the future workforce and ensure compliance with Australian Aged Care, Nursing Care and Disability Care Industry requirements
  • Work with internal comms to communicate L&D initiatives.
