Total Distributed Generation Philippines Inc. is looking for Senior Engineer, Performance.

Job Description:

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct performance data validation, analysis, and system assessments.
  • Generate monthly to annual performance reports and ensure accuracy and data quality.
  • Coordinate site performance issues with SunPower O&M contractors.
  • Review system configurations and documentation (e.g., 8760/TMY, As-Built Drawings).
  • Analyze field test results and maintain organized documentation systems.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare reports for regulatory bodies and renewable energy contracts.
  • Document causes of low performance and propose improvement plans.

Process & Collaboration

  • Maintain updated process documents and work instructions.
  • Support technical/process escalations and cross-functional alignment.
  • Collaborate with performance engineers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct user onboarding and training on tools/processes.

Project & Process Development

  • Develop team trackers and manage data.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for new tools.
  • Define and improve process workflows and recommend automation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Address performance-related inquiries.
  • Attend regular sync-ups and support business change initiatives.

Qualifications/ Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer, or Telecommunications)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of PV technology, solar power, and data acquisition
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms
  • Skilled in document management and task prioritization
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to interpret technical documents and present information clearly
  • Self-driven with tolerance for ambiguity
  • Experience in energy industry (instrumentation, power generation, performance analysis)
  • Advanced MS Excel, PowerFactors, AlsoEnergy, PI Processbook
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python (a plus)
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
  • Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays (US/PH)
  • Willing to work in Alabang Area
