Key Responsibilities

Performance Monitoring & Analysis

  • Validate and analyze performance data across systems.
  • Conduct system assessments and generate monthly to annual performance reports with high accuracy and data integrity.
  • Coordinate with SunPower O&M contractors to address site performance concerns.
  • Review system documentation including 8760/TMY files and As-Built drawings.
  • Analyze field test results and maintain organized technical documentation.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare reports for regulatory agencies and renewable energy contracts.
  • Document causes of underperformance and recommend corrective actions.

Process Management & Collaboration

  • Maintain updated process documentation and work instructions.
  • Support technical escalations and ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Collaborate with fellow performance engineers and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate onboarding and training sessions for users on tools and processes.

Project & Process Development

  • Develop and manage team trackers and performance data.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for new tools and systems.
  • Define and enhance process workflows; recommend automation opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Respond to performance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attend regular sync meetings and contribute to business change initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer, or Telecommunications).
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of photovoltaic (PV) technology, solar power systems, and data acquisition.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.
  • Skilled in document management and task prioritization.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and present findings clearly.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to ambiguity.
  • Experience in instrumentation, power generation, and performance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with PowerFactors, AlsoEnergy, and PI Processbook.
  • Knowledge of SQL and basic Python programming is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Willing to work night shifts, weekends, and observe US/PH holidays as needed.
