GENERAL JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This role assists in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, conducts regular safety inspections and risk assessments, and facilitates training to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Registered Nurse with at least three (3) years related experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the HSES Manager to ensure the organization compiles with local and international HSES regulations and standards
  • Participates in HSES audit and inspections, assisting in identifying and addressing compliance gaps.
  • Support the maintenance of required permits, certifications and regulatory documentation
  • Assist in conducting regular workplace inspections to identify and mitigate health, safety and environmental risk.
  • Support incident investigations including collecting data, interviewing witnesses and contributing to root cause analysis.
  • Help develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified hazards.
  • Coordinate and participate in emergency drills and exercises to test response capabilities
  • Assist in environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable practices
  • Support security measures to safeguard company assets, facilities, and personnel
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, training activities, and regulatory compliance documentation
