Health & Safety Engineer
We need an experienced HSE that can perform a variety of routine and complex administrative, technical, and professional work in analyzing and administering various components of the environmental, health and safety programs.
Candidates must be able to:
- Oversee the planning, creation, and implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety program of the project involved.
- Conduct regular project supervision to make sure safety protocol is being followed at the project site.
- Assists in conducting safety, health, and environmental inspections to determine compliance with Safety, Health & Environment requirements, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and all the applicable Safety, Health & Environment laws, and regulations.
- Monitor, document and report potential and actual negligence of safety standards at the project site.
- Manage safety violations by the client.
- Design, review and revise safety policies, procedures or detailed as deemed necessary.
- Review developmental plans for compliance with adopted safety standards and good safety practices and of client\'s specifications and standards.
- Coordinate the specific safety requirements and equipment for activities with the construction teams.
- Communicate immediately with the management representative/project manager any issues that are considered high priority/urgent.
- Ensures that all incident/accident reports are recorded, monitored, and addressed.
- Ensures the timely submission of filled Safety & Health Performance Records, Environmental Reports (EMS) and consolidate SHE reports and the project.
- Performs Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC) and Aspects/Impacts Risk Assessment and Controls (AIRAC).
- Protects intellectual property, company propriety and confidential information.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Engineering Course, preferably ECE.
- Licensed is an advantage.
- At least 3-5 years\' experience as HSE. With experience in engineering/construction is an advantage
- Certified BOSH/COSH
- With knowledge/background in engineering/construction particularly horizontal projects.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
