Test Analyst, Junior

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Test Analyst will be responsible for creating detailed test cases, executing manual testing, and supporting business user acceptance testing (BUAT) for ServiceNow HRSD enhancements and upgrades. This role requires strong communication skills, familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or ServiceNow, and collaboration with development teams during scrum calls to resolve issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a solid understanding of HRSD workflows are essential.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Develop and document test steps for both personal execution and Business User Acceptance Testing (BUAT) to ensure comprehensive coverage of test scenarios.

·       Perform manual testing for continuous improvements, system upgrades, and project-related changes within the ServiceNow HRSD platform.

·       Collaborate with development teams to report, track, and resolve defects or issues identified during testing phases.

·       Ensure accurate and timely communication of testing progress, issues, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.

COMPETENCIES

Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)

· to 3 years of experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira and ServiceNow

· to 3 years of experience with ServiceNow HRSD

· to 3 years of experience with Manual Testing and Test Case Creation

·       Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, Word, etc.

Complementary Competencies (Good-to-have Competencies)

·       Good written and verbal communication skills

·       Familiarity with Agile practices such as sprints and scrum ceremonies

·       Knowledgeable with reporting tools to generate test reports or dashboards

·       Knowledgeable with identifying edge cases and troubleshooting issues

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Qualifications

·       Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields
