As an Admin Staff / Frontline Officer at Dumaguete Seafront Hotel, you will play a dual role in ensuring smooth internal operations and delivering exceptional guest service. You will be responsible for administrative tasks such as records management, reporting, and coordination, while also serving as the first point of contact for guests at the front desk. This role requires a balance of organizational skills, hospitality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Frontline Officer Duties:
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
- Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Manage reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
- Maintain a neat and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
- Process payments, issue receipts/invoices, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
Administrative Staff Duties:
- Maintain and organize hotel records, files, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports related to occupancy, revenues, and guest feedback.
- Coordinate with different departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) for smooth daily operations.
- Handle inventory and office supply management.
- Support HR functions such as timekeeping and attendance records.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- College graduate (preferably in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field).
- Previous experience in front desk or admin work is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus.
- Able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Customer-oriented with a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
