The Branch Head responsibilities are critical to ensuring the branch's operational success and financial health.
The primary role involves the planning, leadership, organization, control, and monitoring of all branch operations and staff. A core objective is to ensure the attainment of all underwriting and claims targets, as well as production targets including conservation, conversion, and agency recruitment. Additionally, the role is responsible for achieving critical operating targets such as expense ratio, loss ratio, commission expense ratio, contribution margin, and premium per employee.
Furthermore, a significant focus will be on generating and maintaining a balanced and profitable portfolio for the branch. Ensuring strict compliance with the company's operating guidelines, process controls, and procedures, as well as all governmental requirements, is also paramount. Finally, regular and comprehensive reporting to management on the results of operations will be required to facilitate informed decision-making.
