We are seeking a motivated HR Intern to join our team. The HR Intern will gain hands-on experience in various HR functions and assist with day-to-day HR activities. This internship is a great opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in Human Resources.
DUTY (Critical/key obligation to perform)
- Administrative Support:
Assisting with administrative tasks within the HR department, such as updating employee records, filing HR documents, and organizing HR files.
- Learning HR Processes:
Gaining practical experience in HR operations, recruiting, employee relations, and record management.
- Communication Skills:
Attentive in answering and transferring phone calls that are addressed to the HR Staffs.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Assisting in preparing HR-related reports, maintaining employee files, and handling documentation for HR processes.
- Collaboration:
Working with HR team members to support HR initiatives, projects, and daily operations. Remember, the specific duties and responsibilities may vary based on the organization and the stage of the internship program.
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS (Specific actions written in present tense action form)
· Maintain employee records by saving all scanned documents of newly hired existing and resigned employees
· Assist in HR projects and initiatives
· Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes
· Provide administrative support to the HR team
· Help with employee relations and communication Requirements
PROFILE OF JOB / POSITION HOLDER
EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT:
· Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Some positions may require a specific focus on HR management or related studies
YEARS OF EXPERIENCES:
· Previous internship or work experience in HR, customer service, or a related field can be beneficial but not always mandatory for intern roles.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS NEEDED:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is often required.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction within the HR team and with employees.
· Attention to Detail -Being detail-oriented is crucial for handling HR documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
· Mentorship and guidance from HR professionals
· Opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment
COMMON COMPETENCIES FOR ALL HR PERSONNEL:
· Organizational Skills: The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and handle administrative duties efficiently is valuable in an HR OJT or intern role.
· Adaptability: Demonstrating flexibility and the willingness to learn new HR processes, policies, and systems is important for adapting to the dynamic HR environment.
· Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with HR team members, managers, and other departments to support HR initiatives and projects is typically required.
Interest in HR: Having a genuine interest in human resources, talent management, recruitment, or organizational development is beneficial for excelling in an HR OJT or intern position.
