The Role

As a Team Leader within the healthcare BPO industry, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting a team of customer service agents. With your prior experience in the Authorization process, you will be responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of your team, ensuring excellent service delivery to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and manage a team of customer service agents, providing coaching, mentoring and training to drive performance
  2. Monitor team productivity and quality metrics, implementing strategies to continuously improve outcomes
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer inquiries and ensure timely authorization approvals
  4. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall customer experience
  5. Foster a positive team culture, recognising and rewarding excellent performance
  6. Escalate and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  7. Provide detailed reporting and analysis to key stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar Team Leader or Supervisory role within the healthcare BPO industry
  2. Strong understanding of the prior authorization process and healthcare compliance regulations
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  4. Proven track record of driving team performance and delivering exceptional customer service
  5. Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  6. Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
