Job Summary:

The Strategy Officer supports the Head of the Strategy Division in driving strategic planning, execution, and alignment across the bank and its subsidiaries. The role contributes to the development and monitoring of strategic initiatives, supports enterprise-wide projects, and assists in preparing materials for senior leadership and key stakeholders. The Strategy Officer is expected to lead select initiatives and provide strategic support to the CEO, Investor Relations, and other divisions to ensure consistency and alignment with the bank's long-term goals.

The role will be involved in four (4) main functions:

  1. Strategic Planning & Alignment:


• Participates in strategic planning efforts for the bank and its subsidiaries


• Coordinates with business units to ensure strategic consistency


• Contributes to the development of mechanisms for monitoring strategy execution

  1. Project Ownership & Performance Management:


• Involved in strategic projects and contributes to timely delivery


• Oversees tracking of initiatives and maintains reporting tools


• Participates in the development of performance frameworks aligned with strategic objectives


• Conducts research and analysis to inform decision-making

  1. Stakeholder Management & Management Support:


• Prepares strategy-related materials for internal and external stakeholders


• Contributes to strategic communications and capital-raising efforts


• Coordinates messaging across divisions to ensure alignment


• Develops communication materials for key stakeholders

  1. Support to Investor Relations (IR) Division:


• Engages with the IR Division on strategy-related matters


• Aligns investor messaging with strategic goals and planning outputs


• Coordinates external communications related to strategy


• Prepares documentation and presentations as needed

Qualifications preferred, but not required


• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any related field


• At least 5 years experience in related field within banking, financial services, or strategic consulting
