Job Summary :

The Customer and Market Development Officer provides support to the Marketing Management Head. He / she is the On-Ground Market Developer who is in charge of local and market building. In relation to this, be part in the process of establishing the position of the Brand and building its awareness to the desired target market.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Strategy and Execution

· The position assists the Marketing Head in the development of on-ground strategies, communication concepts, campaigns, plans, and promotions for the Brand/s to build awareness, interest, purchase and loyalty.

· Acts as the point person to third party agencies (BTL - Below-the-Line) to finalize and execute the strategies and tactics.

· Conceptualizes and works with the different departments on the creation and production of on-ground awareness and merchandising materials

· Specifics Programs :

· Create and build new Channels

· Product Launches, Site Marketing, Merchandising, Sale Tools, and Sales Promos

· Sale Briefing of New Projects

· Demand creation programs

Research and Trends

· Undertakes market, in coordination with the Business and Product Development groups and consumer research and analysis for overall understanding of the target market and opportunities

· Determines the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) of the brand

· Analyses on-ground market and consumer trends as well as study competitors

· Recommends new approaches and tactics based on consumer understanding and trends.

Budget

· Co-owns the BTL Budget and helps the department to calculate a budget for on-ground marketing activities. He / She will segregate the spendings for various medium as well as track the numbers having an eye towards maximizing gains and reducing costs

Other Operations

· Acts as the point person to third party agencies (BTL - Below-the-Line, Merchandising, Site Marketing)

· Apart from the tasks mentioned above, a Customer and Market Development Office can be asked to assist in other functions as well. He / She may represent the organization during events where external agencies participate. Alternately, he / she can be asked to communicate with the sales staff, and brokers about the brand specifications.

· College graduate with a degree in Marketing.

· to 5 years working experience from a Real Estate company

· Good Organizational skills.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
