We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. This role involves analyzing and controlling costs, preparing detailed financial reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular cost reports.

  • Monitor and report on cost variances and trends.
  • Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Provide cost estimates for new products and projects.
  • Support the budgeting process by providing detailed cost analysis.

  • Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Analyze and report on inventory variances.

  • Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed financial reports and statements related to cost accounting.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.

  • Implement and maintain cost control measures.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

  • Proven experience with cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles.
