I. PURPOSE

Responsible for tailoring communications to address the specific business needs of potential clients during the pre-sales process. This role reports directly to the section head and involves close collaboration with the sales and support teams.

Technology Engineers play a crucial role in designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing various solutions. Their responsibilities include creating system configurations, documenting, installations, and maintaining or upgrading existing systems as needed. This role requires expertise in both hardware and software, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of all technological components.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for supporting the pre-sales team during pre-sales activities and managing post-sales activities.
  • Responsible for participating in project implementation.
  • Provide consultation and technical support via phone, remote, email, and onsite visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Team Lead (TL) or Team Manager (TM), and coordinate and update the plan of activities with the Project Manager (PM) and Service Delivery Manager (SDM) for project implementation and key accounts, respectively.
  • Diligently utilize essential job tools and applications.
  • Promptly update and efficiently close all assigned service desk cases in a timely manner.
  • Pursue training and certifications related to the assigned product.
  • Attend client meetings and conduct Proof of Concept (POC) / Proof of Value (POV) for clients.
  • Create reports, implementation and support documentation, designs related to assigned product/s, and bills of material.
  • Ensure 24x7 availability for maintenance and incident support calls. Be willing to work on a shifting schedule, either work from home or onsite.
  • Share knowledge and skills and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
  • Develop expertise to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the assigned product.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

A. Minimum Education

  • A graduate of any 4-year IT related courses:

  • BS in Electronics Engineering

  • BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering
  • BS in Information Technology
  • BS in Computer Engineering
  • BS in Computer Science
  • BS in Information System

B. Minimum Experience/Training

  • Experience with Network or any technical/IT related field is preferred
  • With at least a year or 2 of related experience is preferred
