Job Summary:

The Project Officer will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of results. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, maintaining project documentation, and assisting with reporting and compliance. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a background in project coordination, including those with an architectural education who are interested in broader project roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordination of project tasks.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure targets are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Communicate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
  • Track budgets and expenditures in coordination with finance teams.
  • Organize meetings and take responsibility for follow-up actions.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and client/donor requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in a project coordination or support role.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana) is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively across disciplines.
