Position Title: Account Manager, Bookkeeping
Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all bookkeeping and financial inquiries. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Proactively communicate with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with our bookkeeping services.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
- Bookkeeping & Financial Management:
- Oversee and perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure all financial operations comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.
- Problem Solving & Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and client issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist clients with budget development and financial forecasting.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, tax) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to both clients and internal management.
- Explain complex financial terms in simple, clear language to non-financial clients.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
- Prior experience in an account management or client-facing position is highly desirable.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent data management and analytical skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
