Job Description

As a Merchant Account Analyst and Researcher, you'll take on a key role that blends data analysis, due diligence, compliance, and market research. The Qualifications We Seek

• Proficiency in Excel (create formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and other data analysis tools is preferred
• Proven experience with electronic payment processing, risk management and fraud prevention
• 3-5+ years of experience in the payments/finance industry preferred
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Merchant processing or payments experience is preferred
• Experience in CRM, Salesforce ideally
• Background in numbers and finance; merchant processing experience is highly desirable
• Intermediate Excel experience (reporting, spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables)
• Experience working with dollar amounts, ratios, and month-over-month sales comparisons
• Proficient in English communication
• Enjoys working with numbers/math
• Stakeholder management experience

• Conduct deep-dive data analysis to verify merchant legitimacy
• Drive onboarding and risk assessment processes with attention to detail
• Extract and present insights that guide strategic decisions
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy and timeliness
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient communication
• Maintain compliance standards and uphold best practices in the payments ecosystem
