
Liaison Officer

For a liaison officer role, the team generally looks for a candidate who has strong communication skills, is collaborative and can maintain positive and effective relationships. Ideally, someone with a good understanding of the government process or someone who is willing to learn and understand the same.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating all submissions to government offices;'
- Liaising with all government offices relative to requirements, additional documents needed, estimated timelines, making follow-ups and the like;
- Assisting in filings of reportorial requirements;
- Assisting in obtaining documents from external parties and/or local agencies;
- Contributing input to the team on legal ways to expedite government processes, based on your experience;
- Advising the team efficient ways or strategies to expedite submissions and/or complete the task assigned;
- Facilitate payment on behalf of the Company/and or the clients;
- Prepare relevant reports on billable hours, utilization and reimbursements of transportation and other costs
- Gives logistical support to the legal department.
- Other related tasks that may be required from time to time
Minimum qualifications:
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to multi-task
- Critical thinking
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Willing to work outside the office
Preferred qualifications:
- Significant experience working in a corporate setting
- Good working knowledge of the legal process and government procedures
- Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software
- Work experience in the related field
- Has and/or can drive a motorcycle
