Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Project Management & Execution

  • Manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement construction schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential delays.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of structures, systems, and equipment.
  • Monitor project costs, track expenses, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate construction documentation, including progress reports and change orders.

2. Technical Expertise & Problem Solving

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Resolve complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure quality control and quality assurance procedures are followed.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with standards.

3. Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise construction team members, including engineers, foremen, and technicians.
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide clear direction to the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
  • Promote a strong safety culture on-site.

4. Planning and Coordination

  • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on construction progress.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.

5. Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures on-site.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned or delegated occasionally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferably with a professional license or certification.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction engineering, with demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Specific Knowledge and Skills: Construction methods, materials, and equipment, reading, and interpretation of Eng'g drawings and specifications, Project Management, Leadership & Team Management, Quality Assurance & Control, Technical Proficiency, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making skills, proficient in software applications (e.g., project management software, CAD).
  • Business Understanding: Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Financial Management, Contract Negotiation.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range: P70,000
  • One week base off every 3 months with free round trip plane tickets (for those outside of Panay Island).
  • Free accommodation in Roxas City (for those outside of Panay Island).
  • Other benefits as per company policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70,000.00 per month
