JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading the team in preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans from the initial project design through to completion.
  • Continuously monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying potential financial risks and opportunities, and implementing cost-saving measures (value engineering).
  • Generating accurate and timely financial reports, including cost/value reconciliations and forecasts, for senior management and clients.
  • Leading, supervising, and mentoring a team of junior and assistant quantity surveyors. Providing guidance on technical, legal, and procedural issues.
  • Allocating work and resources to the team to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Working closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other internal teams to ensure a collaborative and commercially aware approach to the project.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have an experience in quantity surveying for at least five (5) years
  • Must be a graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Must be a licensed engineer
  • Experience in the same industry is an advantage
