Position Summary

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to ensure the successful execution of construction projects. This role emphasizes accurate documentation, project coordination, and site supervision, ensuring that works are completed in compliance with plans, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Coordination

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve project issues.
  • Support procurement by preparing material requests and monitoring deliveries.

2. Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, contracts, permits, correspondence, and approvals.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for submission to management and clients.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping of design changes, site instructions, and material approvals.
  • Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and project turnover documents.

3. Site Supervision and Quality Assurance

  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify that works comply with approved plans and specifications.
  • Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Report site issues and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.

4. Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure implementation of company safety policies and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and inspections.

5. Administrative and Technical Support

  • Provide technical assistance in reviewing plans, shop drawings, and submittals.
  • Assist in tracking project costs, variations, and resource utilization.
  • Support project close-out activities, including punch lists and final documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Engineer (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in construction project engineering.
  • Strong background in project documentation and reporting.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and project management software (MS Project/Primavera preferred).
  • Willing to work in a compressed working schedule Monday to Thursday 8am to7pm and Friday 8am to 5pm only.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
