  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure the company adheres to relevant OHS guidelines and laws, developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Risk Management: Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment, and control (HIRAC) to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to minimize risks and accidents.
  • Inspections & Audits: Perform regular site inspections and safety audits of workplaces, equipment, and work methods to identify unsafe conditions and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Training & Awareness: Provide safety training to employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of equipment.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, injuries, and safety concerns to determine root causes and recommend preventative measures.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop, implement, and test emergency response procedures and drills.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit timely, accurate reports on safety performance, inspections, incidents, and compliance to management and authorities.
  • Advisory & Support: Advise management and employees on safety-related matters and collaborate with other departments to foster a healthy and safe work environment.
