Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing food according to recipes, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring the efficient operation of their assigned station. The ideal candidate has a passion for cooking, works well under pressure, and can thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
  • Handle and store food properly and safely according to health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory checks and notify the chef of shortages.
  • Maintain a clean and organized station at all times.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is a plus.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role (preferred).
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety standards.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.
