SUMMARY

As a Finance Assistant, you will support daily treasury and financial operations by preparing, executing, and monitoring bank transactions; updating financial records and tracking files; coordinating payments and documentation with internal teams; and performing fieldwork such as collecting and depositing checks. You will also help with reconciliations and assist in processing investment-related documents.

Candidates should be computer-literate, good with details, a strong communicator, and able to work as part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update finance databases and monitoring files (deposits, invoices, PDCs, receipts, forex rates, supplier payments).
  • Collect and deposit checks from customers and vendors; prepare checks and bank forms as required.
  • Create payments via online banking portals and release signed checks to vendors with proper documentation.
  • Deliver invoices for countering, manage receipt issuance (Acknowledgement and PR booklets), and coordinate with Key Account Managers on invoice needs.
  • Identify incoming payments and coordinate with Accounting for accurate AR matching; report any collection issues.
  • Assist Accounting with bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare, deliver, and route documents related to corporate investments and provide copies to Accounting.

Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
  • Experience in financial operations, business administration, accounting, or similar

Skills

  • Computer-literate, including Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable in both English and Filipino
  • Driver's license preferred
  • Experience using financial or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
