Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Staff member to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Payable/Receivable:
  2. Process invoices and expense reports.
  3. Manage vendor and customer payments.

  4. Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.

  5. Financial Reporting:

  6. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  7. Support the preparation of budget reports and forecasts.

  8. Data Entry and Maintenance:

  9. Enter financial transactions into accounting software.

  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  11. Reconciliation:

  12. Perform bank reconciliations and assist with the reconciliation of accounts.

  13. Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues.

  14. Compliance and Auditing:

  15. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

  16. Assist with internal and external audits as needed.

  17. General Administrative Support:

  18. Provide general support to the accounting department.
  19. Assist in special projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Fresh graduates welcome or 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or work experience in accounting
