Paralegal Officer

Job Summary:
The Paralegal Officer provides legal and administrative support to the CEO and the legal department by preparing documents, conducting research, managing case files, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of legal terminology and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, affidavits, pleadings, and agreements.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information or evidence to support cases.
- Maintain and organize case files, legal databases, and document management systems.
- Assist attorneys in case preparation, hearings, and trials by preparing exhibits and summaries.
- File and manage legal documents with courts and government agencies.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and external parties regarding case progress or documentation.
- Ensure compliance with legal and confidentiality standards.
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and appointments for attorneys or legal teams.
- Support corporate governance activities (if in a corporate setting), including preparing board resolutions and company filings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Law, or related field.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent training is an advantage.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a legal or paralegal role (experience in [civil/criminal/corporate] law preferred).
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, and research methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal management software.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
