About the Company

We are a Canada-based cleaning services business serving residential and commercial clients. The company is owner-operated with a small local team and a growing client base. Operations are currently handled in-house, and we are now looking to bring on our first Virtual Assistant to support outreach and administrative work as the business continues to grow.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and confident Part-Time Cold Caller & Administrative Assistant to support local outreach, follow-ups, and basic administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable making outbound calls, communicating professionally via email, and supporting a small business owner with day-to-day operational tasks.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structured work, clear instructions, and consistent part-time hours. Experience in the cleaning industry or property management is strongly preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesCold Calling & Local Outreach
  • Make outbound calls to local businesses, property managers, or potential clients
  • Introduce cleaning services in a professional and friendly manner
  • Follow provided talking points and adapt based on the conversation
  • Identify interest and assist with next steps or follow-ups
Email & Follow-Ups
  • Send follow-up emails after calls
  • Track responses and ensure timely follow-up
  • Maintain simple records of outreach activities (calls, emails, responses)
Administrative Support
  • Assist with basic administrative and operational tasks as assigned
  • Organize lead and outreach information
  • Support the owner with routine tasks to help streamline daily operations
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cold calling, outbound outreach, or appointment setting
  • Clear, confident English communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with local businesses and service providers
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
  • Ability to work 20 hours per week consistently in EST hours
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with cleaning companies, property management firms, or service-based businesses
  • Prior experience supporting small business owners
  • Familiarity with email tools and simple tracking systems (Google Sheets, CRM, etc.)
