Job Summary:

The Project In-Charge (Electrical Engineer) is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of electrical engineering projects. This role ensures that all work is delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day project operations, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress.
  • Prepare and review BOQ/BOM, cost estimates, and project budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (power, lighting, FDAS, auxiliary).
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, design plans, and technical submittals.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates for management.
  • Identify potential risks, delays, or issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper resource allocation (manpower, materials, equipment) to meet project milestones.
  • Conduct final inspection and prepare turnover documents upon project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project execution, supervision, and management
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, Planswift, SketchUp, and Bluebeam
  • Strong knowledge of FDAS, Design & Drafting, DUPA, and Project Methodology
  • Excellent communication skills (English proficiency – oral & written)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
