Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Site Architect / Site Engineer – Interior Fit-Out to oversee and manage the on-site execution of high-end interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior design drawings, fit-out works, and MEP integration, ensuring timely completion, quality control, and alignment with design intent.

This role requires a proactive professional capable of coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to deliver high-quality interiors in line with project timelines and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:I. Site Execution & Planning

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities related to interior fit-out including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, and finishes.
  • Review and interpret architectural, ID, and MEP drawings to ensure accuracy in execution.
  • Ensure works are performed according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager to align site work with the master construction schedule.

II. Resource & Material Coordination

  • Ensure timely delivery and correct installation of materials and finishes (e.g., marble, gypsum, wood, paints, hardware).
  • Monitor material usage and report shortages, damage, or wastage to the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate installation works with various subcontractors (e.g., carpentry, glass, gypsum, painting, ceiling, flooring, etc.).

III. MEP Coordination

  • Liaise with MEP engineers to ensure electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems are integrated seamlessly with interior elements.
  • Ensure all concealed services are checked and approved prior to closing partitions, ceilings, or joinery.

IV. Quality & Compliance

  • Perform regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure all work meets design standards, specs, and project tolerances.
  • Address and close snag lists with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.

V. Reporting & Communication

  • Maintain daily site reports and progress records.
  • Report progress, risks, and delays to the Project Manager regularly.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out projects.
  • Proven experience with high-end commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential interior works.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office (especially Excel), and preferably MS Project or other scheduling tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishing details.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to on-site issues.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.

Desirable Traits:

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple trades on a fast-paced site.
  • Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements.
  • Experience in reading and understanding detailed joinery/shop drawings.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment:

  • Site-based role with frequent coordination with office/design and procurement teams.
  • May require extended working hours based on project timelines and deadlines.
