Driver/ Mechanic

Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and experienced driver to safely and efficiently transport to various destinations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, a strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations, and excellent customer service skills (if applicable). This role requires punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a well-maintained vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safe Driving: Operate a vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations. Maintain a clean driving record.
• Delivery/Transportation: Transport goods or passengers to designated locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This may include loading and unloading cargo (if applicable).
• Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or needed repairs promptly. Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Coordinate with external service providers for major repairs when necessary
• diagnose mechanical issues and perform minor repairs
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including logs, delivery receipts, and other necessary paperwork.
• Customer Service (if applicable): Provide courteous and professional service to passengers or clients. Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Navigation: Utilize GPS or maps to navigate efficiently and safely to various destinations.
• Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Safety: Prioritize safety at all times, following all safety protocols and reporting any safety hazards immediately.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving [Specify type of vehicle, e.g., trucks, vans, cars, etc.]
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills (especially if interacting with the public).
• Ability to lift and carry [weight] pounds (if applicable).
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
