
Outbound Sales Agent

We are seeking motivated and customer-focused Appointment Setters to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for making outbound and inbound calls to individuals over 60 years old in New Zealand, and booking appointments for hearing tests. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in outbound appointment setting, sales, or customer service, with a focus on ethical and effective communication.
Main Responsibilities
Outbound & Inbound Call Handling: Make outbound calls to prospective customers and manage inbound calls from interested individuals, booking appointments for hearing tests.
Appointment Setting: Utilize ethical and effective appointment-setting and sales techniques to achieve campaign objectives.
Accurate Record-Keeping: Record all customer interactions and transactions accurately and efficiently in the CRM system.
Achieve KPIs: Consistently meet and exceed appointment, productivity, quality, and compliance key performance indicators (KPIs).
Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client products and services, including any changes or new additions.
Training & Development: Participate in coaching and training sessions to continuously develop skills and knowledge related to appointment setting and product expertise.
Compliance: Adhere to all quality and compliance requirements, ensuring that all customer interactions meet the highest standards.
Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team initiatives and efforts to support appointment targets and overall team goals.
Client Representation: Embody the client's and the company's values during on-call and on-floor activities.
Professional Development: Complete all required training and professional development opportunities as necessary for the role.
Skills & Qualifications
Appointment Setting Experience: Prior experience in outbound appointment setting, sales, or customer service is preferred.
Strong Communication: High-level written and verbal communication skills, with a confident, clear, and approachable phone manner.
CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools and Genesys for outbound call management is preferred.
Objection Handling: Proficient in handling objections and scheduling appointments effectively to meet targets.
Relationship Building: Ability to quickly build rapport and gain customer trust over the phone.
Problem Solving & Negotiation: Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Collaboration: Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with clients and peers.
Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including efficient typing and the ability to use call management systems.
Time Management: High attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively under pressure.
Autonomy: Capable of working independently, using initiative to prioritize tasks and find solutions with minimal supervision.
Training Commitment: Must be available for 5 days of training before the project start date.
Compliance & Privacy Standards: Must meet data privacy and compliance standards, including background checks where necessary.
