SCM Lead – Domestic

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

STRATEGIC PLANNING

• Understanding the nature of the businesses / projects handled by SCM for Power and Sugar procurement

• Strategic planning and assessment of the SCM Logistics Process

• Work with SCM Logistics Manager to develop and implement comprehensive logistics and importation strategies aligned with the organization's supply chain goals

• Collaborate with leaders to define logistics KPIs, objectives and performance matrix.

COST MANAGEMENT

• Ensure that landed cost computations are provided on-time upon request of procurement team

• Ensure level of accuracy of logistical costs provided to procurement team versus actual costs are maintained based on targets

PERFORMANCE TRACKING AND REPORTING

• Collaborate with different teams to establish and track KPIs of logistics operations

• Generate regular reports and provide insights for improvement

DELIVERY MONITORING

• Properly align the endorsement of the awarded POs from procurement team to logistics coordinators

• Ensure delivery of suppliers (direct to site) and service providers (via broker/forwarder) in accordance to SLA and/or purchase plan as well as coordinating this with the respective procurement team in charge

• Align target dates of delivery with service providers

• Ensure timeliness of awarding to service providers in accordance to the date needed on site (DNS) and agreed delivery date (ADD)

• Awareness in the capacity of the suppliers and service providers to deliver the items prior awarding

• Able to resolve issues in the deliveries such as but not limited to damage, missing items, unmatched specs within SLA

PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

• Coach and mentor subordinates and ensure that they achieve their targets

• Ensure that the team observes the HR policies in their daily activities

• Provides regular performance feedback, develops subordinates' skills, and encourages growth

SUPPLIER BASE

• Increase pool of accredited service providers

• Source service providers (abroad or local) that can provide services needed by the different entities being handled by the SCM Logistics team

• Secure accreditation requirements from new service providers and endorse the same to the Vendor Management team.

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Ensure proper safekeeping of collated billing documents of service providers as well proper transmittal and recording of forwarded billing statements to the different accounting teams

• Coordinate meetings with suppliers regarding operations and payment concerns

• Prepare reports such as delivery status of POs, monitoring and updating of trackers as well as ensuring that the monitoring files are updated and aligned with the actual status (e.g. Logistics Weekly Report, EAM and others)

• Ensure that logistics processes are done legally and ethically.

BACKLOGS & LIQUIDATION

• Manage all Payment Backlogs and Liquidation transactions handled by SCM

• Create a process flow and ensure work plan for Payment Backlogs and Liquidation is being implemented

• Oversee coordination with different stakeholders in order to provide a workaround for the various payment backlogs and liquidation transactions.

• Ensure that resolving payment backlogs and liquidation are completed based on the target dates

• Propose different workaround strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Can perform a variety of tasks, often changing from one to another of different nature

• Can adapt to frequent changes in workload and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
