
HR Recruitment Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Recruitment Business Development Officer plays a dual role in driving business growth and supporting the recruitment function. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients, strengthening relationships with existing ones, and collaborating with recruitment consultants to ensure client requirements are met with top-tier talent solutions. Your success will be measured by the revenue generated through new business and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries to grow the client base.
- Conduct market research to understand current trends and potential client needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in HR and senior management.
- Present and pitch executive search services to potential clients.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and service agreements.
- Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and ongoing business.
- Manage client accounts and provide support for any concerns related to recruitment services.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver on client expectations and deadlines.
- Gather client feedback for continuous service improvement.
Recruitment Support:
- Work closely with the recruitment team to align on client requirements and candidate profiles.
- Ensure job orders are clearly defined and actionable.
- Provide market insights to recruitment consultants, including competitor intelligence and compensation trends.
- Help prioritize job orders based on business value and urgency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in recruitment, business development—preferably in a staffing or executive search firm.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building lasting client relationships.
- Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle and talent acquisition trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and digital communication platforms.
