The Analyst, Financial Systems will work under the direction of the Sr. Director, Financial Systems and support the Company's Workday implementation and post go live administration. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in financial systems, accounting, FP&A, project management, and/or prior experience implementing or administering Workday or other ERP systems.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under the direction of the Sr. Director, support the administration of Workday financials, including Core financials, Customer Accounts, Spend, Banking and Adaptive Planning. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, master data and its governance, report writing, user training, problem solving, data interfaces/integrations, Security related to financial modules, and ongoing enhancements
  • Implement optimal processes and configurations that ensure a strong internal control framework
  • Proactively suggest ideas for enhancements and automation to support the growth of the business
  • Develop and maintain process documentation of business rules, allocations, and custom calculations
  • Participate in system audits and reconciliations for data integrity and security
  • Support user training and ongoing user skill enhancement efforts

  • Ability to productively collaborate with various teams to manage action items and meet deadlines.
  • Critically assess the adequacy of internal controls and opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Well-developed sense of urgency and follow through.
  • Team oriented individual and self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions.
  • Ability to succeed in a deadline driven environment while keeping a positive, flexible attitude and level head.
  • Problem solving skills, high level of detail orientation, and best practice and process knowledge
  • Ability to communicate with respect and tact at all times in all situations.
  • Strives for excellence and inspires others to do the same
  • Adaptive Planning experience is a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a similar position
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and improving financial systems
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Drive for continuous improvement and best practice mindset
